Foodie Friday – Frozen Banana & Peanut Butter Puppy Icecream

After what has been a big week I am spoiled this week by my Foodie Friday taste testing duties. All indulgent treat today and nice and cool too on another hot day.

What you will need to get out of the cupboard and fridge:

Really simple well ripened banana/s.

Peanut butter.

That is it. The number of bananas you have will determine the amount of peanut butter with about 1 tablespoon of peanut butter per banana.

What you do with the stuff:

Mash up the banana/s in a bowl.

Add the peanut butter and mix it in.

Scoop mixture into an icecube tray or mum has used the small plastic containers we get with the Thai takeaway that has the dipping sauces.  Then pop into the freezer to freeze (dah!).

When you want one simply pop it out….

And hand it over!

This isn’t me being nasty…. had peanut butter stuck to the roof of my mouth.

Nice and cold but they are a short chew versus things that take me longer to eat like the puppy ice-block.

  1. Ahhh ice chomping face! 😀 I like no bake recipes because we don’t have an oven in the house 😀 Heeheee… gonna try this one… since this give the chance for the human to buy bananas and maybe even finish the bananas before they turn black 😀
