Foodie Friday – Liver Fudge

Foodie Friday continues with another recipe shared by mate Roy’s mum. Mum couldn’t remember the exact recipe but pretty happy with what she did remember… and I somehow think she is just simplifying things.

Mum does put a warning on this one that it is a bit smelly… but I think it is delicious!

What you will need to get out of the cupboard and fridge:

A piece of liver (mum just bought the stuff from the meat section of the local supermarket).

About a cup of flour.

A couple of eggs.

What you do with the stuff:

The main bit is putting the liver into the blender. Mum put it in there and let it all break up… yummo!

Liver Fudge (2)

Then mum simply added the flour and egg and continued to blend it together.

Liver Fudge (1)

She poured it into a tray, putting some baking paper on the bottom and popped it into the oven on about 180oC for about 15mins (but was checking it regularly).

And I am pretty happy with the end result…. can’t wait for training tomorrow to have more.

Liver Fudge (3)

And licking the spoon was pretty good too…..

Liver Fudge (4)

Happy Foodie Friday…. Paws Up Mum!!!

  1. That kind of looks like raspberry… but I can imagine the smell D: … I wish I can try it though. It looks easy, but I don’t have an oven. Will have to go convince my mother to lend me hers to make dog food. I imagine she will be quite flabbergasted šŸ˜›
