1st World Dog Places To Go

I’m the sort of dog who is cool to nap on the lounge but I also love getting out and about. These are some of my fav places to go… would love to hear about yours too so make sure to leave a comment so I can check them out.

Parks & Beaches:

Bayview. Probably one of my favourite places. When the tide is out a big bit of sand to run and dig. Also a big grass area for after (mum likes me to run around de-sand and dry off before I get back in the car). Mum also likes when the coffee van is there. Nice walk around from the Flying Fox Cafe too… that has a cool playground for the toddler.

At Bayview

Sirius Park and Sirius Cove is another great place. A beach and water to swim in (I love a swim). Nice view from the beach too and toddler likes the playground there too (see I’m a caring kinda dog for my toddler).

Killara Park is an old fav. When I was a pup and mum had an office job she used to take me here most afternoons. She still takes me down there sometimes to hang out with old friends and make new friends. There are some people down there however that do need some training on the art of ball throwing.

Cafes:

Pottery Green Bakery – Gordon. OK not your usual dog place to go but they are quite happy for me to sit outside with mum when she has her lunch. Get lots of scratches from people who pass by. Lots of nice people around. Mum loves the food here with their speciality the pho. There isn’t a lot of outside sitting and it is on the street between the train station and the Pacific Hwy but the food it worth it.

Frendz Cafe – West Lindfield. Another local place where there is plenty of outside space. According to mum the actual menu food is pretty standard but they always have some good stuff on the specials board. They also take bookings so say you are taking your pooch and they will reserve an outside table.

Venuto – West Pymble. This place sits within a concreted mall. There are plenty of outside tables and the food is reasonable. There is also a small playground at the back of the mall that The Toddler gets to play at if she comes along.

Tastebuds – Terrey Hills. This is the place we tend to go after agility training on Saturday morning as it is convenient and there is plenty of space for us dogs. The report from mum is the food can be a bit hit & miss. Some of the things on the specials board like the veggie stack are supposedly great but mum did have an issue with an undercooked burger (and still wouldn’t share it with me!)

Holidays:

Baywinds – Callala Beach – South Coast NSW
